About Chris
Chris DiBerardino is a senior colorist who started his career in color at PostWorks NY where he worked from 2010 until 2022. He has experience working on narrative films, documentary films, music videos, broadcast television shows, branded content, and commercial spots. His projects have screened at film festivals across the world and his work can also be seen on HBO, Netflix, Disney +, NBC, Discovery, Nat Geo, PBS, and Paramount Network. Chris enjoys working with established filmmakers and emerging artists alike, helping them bring their projects to life.
Chris studied film at Quinnipiac University where his love of post production took root. He uses color to enhance story and shape the mood and feel of the project. His aesthetic choices and approach to color are tailored to each specific project's needs. Chris' ability to gauge what is needed stylistically from project to project and shot to shot is one of his biggest strengths. Chris also loves the collaborative aspect of the color process and working closely with directors, directors of photography and producers on their projects to help them realize their vision.
When he isn’t color grading, Chris shoots photography, plays guitar and drums, and also plays on a men’s ice hockey team. He also started a film club that meets to watch and discuss a film every week.
